Deleting a Sitekey

This action cannot be undone

Deleting a sitekey permanently removes it and all associated configuration, statistics, and permissions.

Before you delete

  • Remove the EU CAPTCHA widget from all pages that use this sitekey. Leaving the widget in place after deletion will cause challenge errors for visitors.
  • Remove the secret key from any server-side verification code.
  • Inform any team members who have permissions on this sitekey.

How to delete

  1. Go to the Dashboard.
  2. Locate the sitekey you want to delete.
  3. Click the Delete button in the sitekey row.
  4. Confirm the deletion in the confirmation dialog.

The sitekey is removed immediately and no longer appears in your dashboard.

Only the sitekey Owner can delete a sitekey. Users with Write or Read permissions cannot delete it.
